Lumper / Warehouse Loader-Unloader

Location: Riverside, Ca

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - M-F

Pay: $18.00

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Lumpers / Warehouse Loaders-Unloaders to assist with the loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Associates will be responsible for accurately sorting merchandise by SKU number, maintaining an organized work area, and safely handling products throughout the loading and unloading process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, containers safely and efficiently.
  • Manually move, stack, and organize boxes, cases, cartons, and other merchandise.
  • Sort products according to SKU numbers, product type, customer order, or designated warehouse location.
  • Verify SKU numbers and product information to ensure items are placed in the correct location.
  • Break down and build pallets as needed.
  • Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
  • Stack products safely and securely to prevent damage or shifting.
  • Assist with staging products for shipment or storage.
  • Maintain accurate counts of products when required.
  • Inspect products and packaging for visible damage and report issues to the supervisor.
  • Keep loading docks, aisles, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and warehouse guidelines.
  • Work effectively with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, loading/unloading, lumper, material handling, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read and identify SKU numbers and product labels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Ability to safely handle and move products throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull products.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise, and physically demanding conditions.
