Job Title: Experienced CDL A Driver / Yard & Warehouse Associate
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Overview:We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of driving experience, along with hands-on expertise operating Moffett forklifts, sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks. When not on the road making deliveries, you will assist with operations in the yard and warehouse, including loading/unloading materials and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities: Driving and Deliveries:- Safely operate a CDL A vehicle to deliver materials to customer locations on time.
- Operate Moffett forklifts to unload materials at delivery sites.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips and report any issues.
- Ensure materials are properly secured and delivery documentation is accurate.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Operate Moffett, sit-down, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks to load and unload materials.
- Assist in stocking inventory and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare orders for delivery and ensure proper loading of vehicles.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the yard and warehouse.
- Assist customers and team members with locating and moving materials.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
- Follow safety guidelines for equipment operation and material handling.
- Participate in routine safety training and equipment inspections.
- Valid CDL A License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL A Driver.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Moffett forklift, sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, and reach truck.
- Familiarity with yard and warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a DOT Drug Test
- Must have steel toed boots
