Job description

We are seeking a Senior Fabric OneLake Data Modeler with strong experience in enterprise data modeling, analytical data warehousing, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and modern data architecture.

Required Skills
  • 8+ years of enterprise data modeling experience.
  • 5+ years of analytical data warehouse design experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake.
  • Experience with Medallion Architecture and Corporate Information Factory methodologies.
  • Strong SQL and dimensional modeling skills.
  • Experience designing enterprise semantic models and supporting Power BI.
  • Knowledge of MDM, PK/FK design, referential integrity, and data governance.
  • Experience with Lucidchart, ERwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent modeling tools.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models.
  • Define facts, dimensions, hierarchies, metrics, relationships, and business entities.
  • Develop reusable canonical data models across enterprise domains.
  • Establish data modeling standards, naming conventions, grain definitions, and metadata practices.
  • Design and govern data models aligned with Fabric, OneLake, and Medallion Architecture.
  • Review and approve data designs and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Facilitate data modeling workshops and collaborate with Architects, Data Engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain model documentation, governance, and enterprise data standards.
  • Coach Data Engineers and junior team members on data modeling best practices.
  • Support Power BI, semantic models, self-service analytics, AI solutions, and governed reporting.
