Responsibilities
  • Perform work, including oil changes, filter changes, lubrication as outlined on service ticket with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and manufacture standards.
  • Inspect and report any needed maintenance or replacements including air filters.
  • Check fluid levels, fill if necessary.
  • Perform Multi Point Vehicle Inspection
  • Fill out a follow up sticker and adhere it to the windshield.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Document work performed.
  • Quality check work performed.
  • Attend training classes
  • Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
  • Ensure that customersโ€™ vehicles are kept clean
  • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of waste.
  • Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management and be a Team Player.

  • General mechanical and maintenance understanding of automobiles
  • Ability to perform maintenance and safety inspection of automobiles and document all findings
  • Ability to build quotes for maintenance, safety, and minor repair items that need corrected.
  • Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Some official work/center based training or Technical degree (preferred)
  • One year in a service department (preferred)
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
