About The Opportunity

Netrix Global - The Digital WorkplaceGrouphelps clients utilize state of the art audio-visual technologies to create more efficient workflows and workspaces. We deliver customized AV systems and solutions designed and built to our clients' precise specifications. Netrix DW has made helping our clients collaborate with Microsoft Teams a primary focus with QSC audio, video, and control for larger room solutions. Our DW team manages and maintains proactive monitoring solutions mainly through Utelogy, Q-SYS reflect, and Crestron Fusion.

How You Will Make An Impact

As a member of our growing team, Audio Visual Field Engineer fulfill duties including, but not limited to, the following:

    • Create, update, and maintain custom control programming in Q-SYS and Crestron Environments with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Teams Rooms
    • Create, update, and maintain audio DSP configuration files primarily in Q-SYS and Biamp Environments
    • Create simplified user interfaces to enhance user adoption
    • Setup and fine tune automated camera tracking systems using ACPR and other AI enhanced platforms
    • Perform thorough system tests and commissioning for integrated systems
    • Perform user acceptance testing demonstrating a working and stable system
    • Onsite visits to project locations (~50% travel required)
    • Read, interpret, and modify AV System Drawings
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients
    • Maintain and update project trackers
    • Attend weekly project status review calls
    • Attend client facing project scope review meetings
    • Attend weekly peer review meetings to scope and quote projects
    • Working collaboratively with Field Project Managers, Delivery Engineers, Field Supervisors, and Design Engineers.
    • Communicating with end-users regarding user adoption and punch list items
    • Manage and maintain source code and DSP configuration files in version controlled repositories.
    • Suitable candidates exhibit personal responsibility, accountability, and teamwork
    • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
    What You Will Bring To The Table
    • 5-8 Years of relevant experience
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams and Teams Room Systems
    • Proficient in Q-SYS Designer and Lua Scripting
    • Proficiency in Crestron Control Programming, including creating custom modules
    • Ability to creating and Modifying Audio DSP configuration files
      • Including setting up and managing Camera Tracking, AEC, EQ, and gain structures
    • Strong understanding of network-based AV distribution systems
    • Ability to create and understand AV system designs
    • Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex issues (logical and analytical skills)
    • Ability to remotely support and commission systems through field engineers
    • Ambition/drive to learn new technologies or areas as needed for job requirements
    • Excellent customer service skills (external and internal clients/team members)
    • Must be willing to collaborate and work well with other team members
    • Eager, self-motivated, and capable of learning/understanding a complex environment quickly

      • Biamp Tesira AV Processing and Distribution - Software Programing Lvl 02
    • CAD and Drafting skills preferred.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain deadlines for multiple tasks.
    • Ability to interact professionally with clients, account executive, and design architects.
    • Strong understanding of IT networking.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Lists, Excel, Word, One Note, PowerPoint, Planner)
    • Familiarity with Adobe Suite to create and user interface guides
