Location: Windward Gardens
Contract Duration: 04/06/26 - 06/13/26 (10 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 1 shift per day
Meal Break: 30 minutes
Rate: $89/hour
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RN UM) will oversee daily nursing operations for the assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. The RN UM will lead and support the nursing team, coordinate patient care, and manage staffing and workflow to optimize unit efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), providing guidance and support
  • Manage daily unit operations, including patient assignments, staffing, and workflow
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and ensure proper implementation
  • Monitor patient outcomes and intervene in high-risk or complex situations
  • Ensure accurate administration of medications and treatments according to physician orders
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and quality standards
