OB/GYN Hospitalist in NC
Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist
Type: Full-time, Inpatient
Overview:
Seeking a Board Certified/Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to provide inpatient care including labor and delivery, postpartum management, and OB/GYN emergencies. The role involves collaboration with midwives, nurses, anesthesiologists, and specialists to ensure quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Manage labor, delivery, and obstetric emergencies
Handle inpatient gynecologic consults and emergencies
Collaborate with the maternity care team
Educate patients on prenatal/postnatal care and reproductive health
Participate in simulations, quality reviews, and continuing education
Adhere to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
Requirements:
MD or DO with valid NC medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
ACLS and NRP certified (fetal monitoring preferred)
Strong clinical and communication skills
