Job description

Join a growing mobile healthcare team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Point-of-Care Laboratory Technician providing laboratory testing and specimen collection services in a mobile setting. This full-time evening role offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work independently while delivering high-quality patient care.


Position Details

  • Full-Time | Permanent
  • Monday–Friday
  • Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Company vehicle provided (pickup/drop-off in San Leandro)

Pay

  • $26.00 – $32.00/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform waived laboratory testing and specimen processing
  • Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary collection
  • Enter patient information and laboratory results into the system
  • Perform quality control checks and routine instrument maintenance
  • Assist with specimen transport and mobile laboratory operations
  • Maintain laboratory supplies and ensure accurate documentation

Requirements

  • California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid California driver's license with a good driving record
  • Laboratory workflow knowledge required
  • Previous phlebotomy and laboratory testing experience preferred
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
