Job description

Travel LPNs needed in the following states:

  • Missouri 
  • Georgia 
  • Idaho 
  • Illinois
  • Maryland  

Weekly pay from $1625 - 2685/week, depending on location.  Amounts shown are based on 3x12 per week, not including shift differentials or overtime wages.  Some locations offer 5x8 per week.  Compensation is a combination of taxed hours worked and non-taxed stipend. 


Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to correctional departments across the country. We are currently seeking full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Teams in Illinois, Missouri, Georgia, Idaho and Maryland. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.


The Eagle (Travel team) LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the assigned state, per contract needs.  Each assignment will be restricted to one location.  The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

  • Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in assigned state
  • IV Certification is required in some programs
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
  • Corrections experience preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
