Lpn Injector information

How to make an extra $2000 a month as a nurse?

LPN injectors can increase their income by taking on additional shifts, working in high-demand clinics, or offering specialized services such as cosmetic injections if certified. Gaining advanced certifications and building a strong reputation can also lead to higher-paying opportunities or private practice options.

What is the difference between Lpn Injector vs Lpn?

AspectLpn InjectorLpn
CertificationsLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with additional injection trainingLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Work EnvironmentClinics, outpatient settings, aesthetic practicesHospitals, long-term care, clinics
Job ResponsibilitiesAdminister injections, assist with proceduresBasic patient care, medication administration

The main difference is that an Lpn Injector has specialized training in administering injections, often in aesthetic or outpatient settings, while a standard LPN focuses on general patient care. Both roles require an LPN license, but the injector role emphasizes injection skills for specific treatments.

How much do nurses get paid to inject Botox?

LPN injectors or nurses performing Botox typically earn between $20 and $50 per injection, with total compensation varying based on experience, location, and clinic policies. Many also receive hourly wages or salaries, often ranging from $18 to $30 per hour, especially when working in medical spas or dermatology clinics that require certification in aesthetic procedures.

Can an LPN be a nurse injector?

An LPN can become a nurse injector if they obtain additional training and certification in cosmetic injections, as LPNs are generally not authorized to perform injections without specific state licensure and training. Nurse injectors are typically registered nurses (RNs) or nurse practitioners (NPs) with advanced education and certification in aesthetic procedures. Licensing requirements vary by state, so LPNs should check local regulations before performing injections.

What job pays LPN the most?

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) can earn the highest salaries in specialized settings such as surgical units, outpatient clinics, or home healthcare, especially with additional certifications or experience. Advanced roles like LPNs working in outpatient surgery centers or with specialized skills tend to offer higher pay compared to general nursing positions.

Job description

Nurse Injector (Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contract)

Calgary, AB (SE)

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, high-volume aesthetic clinic in Calgary SE — and step into an existing book of business with a loyal, ready-made patient base.

Unlike a startup role, you'll have everything in place from day one: strong in-clinic referrals, a cohesive and supportive team, and a dedicated marketing team actively driving patient acquisition and personal brand development. Other providers within the clinic refer patients directly to the injector, and the clinic's reputation in the region speaks for itself.

The culture here is collaborative, professional, and genuinely healthy — a place where team players thrive, and clinical excellence is the standard.

WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT

  • Existing book of business, loyal patients, strong referral network, and established trust in the clinic
  • Work ~3+ days per week with optimized booking — including Saturday, the clinic's busiest and most lucrative day
  • Multi-location potential: opportunity to work in Airdrie and Canmore if desired
  • Medical Director on-site 4 days/week — collaborative, accessible, and invested in your growth (though you'll be expected to work autonomously and confidently)
  • Access to medical advisors and a network of leading aesthetic professionals to sharpen your skills
  • Opportunity to bring on an assistant as patient volume grows

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Option 1 — Hourly + Commission: Competitive hourly rate plus commission on injectable services and product sales (FT & PT)
  • Option 2 — Full Contractual: Variable commission structure (~25–30% straight commission)
  • Eligibility for benefits and paid vacation for non-contractual positions

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deliver results-driven treatment plans aligned with clinic protocols
  • Perform neurotoxin and filler procedures safely, consistently, and efficiently in a high-volume setting
  • Pre-book and maintain treatment cadence to support patient outcomes and clinic flow
  • Conduct thorough consultations to assess patient needs, set realistic expectations, and recommend appropriate treatments — including complementary energy-based device (EBD) services and medical-grade skincare
  • Provide an exceptional patient experience through clear communication and professionalism
  • Complete post-procedure follow-up and monitoring to support satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, photography, and progress tracking
  • Collaborate with the team on scheduling, patient flow, and inventory accuracy
  • Stay current with emerging techniques, products, and industry training

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This role is suited for a confident, autonomous injector ready to hit the ground running. We're looking for a skilled professional who can walk in and deliver.

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Alberta (RN or LPN)
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on cosmetic injection experience in a medical aesthetics setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency with neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, etc.) and dermal fillers across a range of treatment areas
  • Experience with high-volume dosing, multi-syringe treatments, and comprehensive full-face treatment planning
  • Ability to naturally guide patients toward complementary treatments and retail products to enhance outcomes
  • Strong consultation skills with a client-centered approach and excellent interpersonal communication
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing an independent practice with confidence
  • An existing clientele or following is a bonus, but not required for this role

If you are a confident, experienced injector ready to step into a high-performing clinic with an established patient base and real growth potential, we want to hear from you! Please apply in confidence using the "Apply" button for immediate consideration.

Thank you in advance for your interest. Only individuals deemed to have the skill set and experience to fit the role will be contacted.
