Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Pay Rate: $37.17/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting. This full-time contingent position offers 32–40 hours per week and includes working every other weekend. Candidates must be flexible to float to nearby clinic locations as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings and be comfortable performing clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Schedule
- Full-time contingent position
- 32–40 hours per week
- Every other weekend required

Responsibilities
- Assess patients and collect medical histories.
- Perform clinical assessments and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and prescribed treatments.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Conduct point-of-care testing according to established protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to healthcare providers.
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, preventive care, and follow-up instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Advocate for patient safety and promote positive patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room required.
- Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.

Candidates whose nursing experience is limited primarily to long-term care settings, including nursing homes, home health, long-term acute care hospitals (LTACs), or skilled nursing facilities, are not a fit for this opportunity.
