Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Geriatric Psychiatric Unit


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Geriatric Psychiatric team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elderly patients experiencing mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct nursing care to elderly patients with psychiatric conditions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

- Monitor and document patients’ mental and physical health status, including vital signs, medication administration, and behavioral observations

- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs

- Support patients with activities of daily living, ensuring their safety and comfort

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care

- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment plans, and medication management

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and observations

- Adhere to all safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards in compliance with healthcare regulations


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment
