Job Title: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) 

Location: Lincoln, NE 

Department: Nursing 

Reports to: DON/Charge Nurse 

Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN Availability!

Shifts: 6:30a-6:30p and 6:30p-6:30a


At Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and compassion to our residents and their families. As a LPN Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in leading our team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality care in our state-of-the-art facility.

About the Role:

As an LPN Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care and attention. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor resident progress, and make adjustments as needed. Your excellent leadership and communication skills will enable you to effectively guide and support your teammates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct resident care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assessing patient conditions

  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the nursing team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any concerns or issues

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment

  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of Nebraska

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team

  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of industry standards and best practices

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
