Cardiology Associates is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing outpatient cardiology team in Mobile, Alabama. This position is ideal for a motivated and compassionate nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.


This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, day shift position with no weekends or holidays required.


Candidates must be willing to travel between our Mobile office locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient triage and assist with direct patient care
  • Obtain vital signs and patient medical histories
  • Perform EKGs and other clinical procedures
  • Start IVs as needed
  • Assist providers with examinations and patient care
  • Document patient information accurately in the EMR/EHR system
  • Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans
  • Support daily clinic workflow in a busy outpatient cardiology practice
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care


Qualifications

  • Active Alabama LPN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • IV skills required
  • Experience performing EKGs preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
