Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will:
  • Administer injections, draw labs, and complete head-to-toe assessments, including for adult, child, adolescent, and substance abuse individuals.
  • Log in/out sample and patient assistance medications.
  • Log and dispose of expired medications and complete prior authorizations for medications.
  • Re-order prescribed injections as needed.
  • Assist MD/APRN as needed, including taking and entering verbal orders in the electronic health record.
  • Educate individuals on medications, including adverse reactions, side effects, and benefits.
Job Requirements
  • Current State Specific Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification (can be obtained during orientation)
  • Minimum of one year paid LPN work experience within the past year of direct patient care in a similar setting
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills
