LPG/Propane Delivery Driver

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, this position is responsible for the safe loading, transport and delivery of LPG/propane to customers within assigned timeframe. The employee provides friendly, courteous customer service, maintains accurate records of travel, including time and mileage and product information. Complies with all federal, regional and state legal and safety regulations and procedures and monitors vehicle maintenance and operation. Per diem pay per night.

What you'll do:

• Delivers LPG (propane) in a safe and timely manner while operating a tractor-trailer tanker truck

• Safe loading and unloading of products using LPG liquid and vapor hoses weighing up to 100 pounds

• Provides courteous and professional customer service

• Inspects vehicles for mechanical items, safety issues and performs preventative maintenance

• Complies with all DOT truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

• Replenishes truck fuel, cleans truck, washes windows

• Completes product Bills of Lading (BOL) accurately and completely

• Reports mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel (Transportation Manager)

• Maintains a log of hours using Electronic Log Device, ensures compliance with hours-of-service regulations

• Monitors and reports any traffic congestion or other incident that could cause a potential schedule delay. Reports to the Transportation Manager on any incidents or accidents encountered on the road

• Other duties as assigned

What you bring:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree

• Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with HAZMAT, Air Brake and Tanker Endorsements

• Current TWIC card.

• Must provide a medical certificate

• Must pass drug and alcohol test

• Must have clean driving record

• Must provide current MVR
