At REIC, we move more than just dirt - we move progress. As a division of REIC Rentals, one of the fastest-growing and most respected names in equipment rental, we serve construction, industrial, and municipal customers across North America. With 55 locations, including NW brands like Midway Rental, Pro Rentals & Sales, and Black Mountain Rental, we deliver reliability, expertise, and a personal touch on every haul.
Your Mission
We're looking for an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver with hands-on lowboy and beavertail trailer experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a driver who has built their career in local construction or equipment delivery, not over-the-road hauling. You'll take pride in safely transporting heavy, small, and aerial equipment while providing outstanding service to our customers across the region.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver and retrieve construction and rental equipment to and from job sites across Oregon and Washington
  • Operate lowboy and beavertail trailers to haul heavy equipment such as excavators, earthmovers, and attachments
  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload machinery in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Perform and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain a clean, compliant, and road-ready truck, including DOT and annual inspections
  • Accurately report and document equipment condition upon pickup and delivery
  • Provide basic operational orientation for customers at delivery when needed
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and maintain a professional, customer-first approach
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Valid Class A CDL (manual transmission required)
  • Proven experience operating lowboy and beavertail trailers
  • Local driving background strongly preferred (construction, rental, or equipment delivery experience)
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably within the construction or equipment rental industry
  • Clean driving record with no serious violations in the last three years
  • Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Why You'll Love Working Here
We know you've got options - but we offer more than just a driving job. At ERS, you'll find a company that respects your time, values your experience, and invests in your future.
We offer:
  • Competitive pay with overtime opportunities
  • Health, Vision & Dental insurance for you and your family
  • Company-paid life insurance plus optional coverages (accident, critical illness, etc.)
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company match after 60 days
  • Ongoing professional training and advancement opportunities
