Job description

You will be the Aircraft Structural Mechanic for the SOF GLSS team. Our team is responsible for delivering highimpact structural maintenance and repair services that sustain critical rotarywing platforms for Special Operations Forces.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Aircraft Structural Mechanic you will be responsible for modifying, repairing, and maintaining the structural configurations of H6, H60, and H47 rotarywing aircraft supporting the SOF GLSS contract located in Lexington, KY.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Performing structural modifications using riveting, fastening, trimming, sanding, bonding, and composite repair techniques.

  • Conducting damage assessments, corrosion removal, treatment, and preventative maintenance to extend airframe life.

  • Fabricating, installing, and replacing sheetmetal and composite panels, fairings, and structural parts per engineering drawings.

  • Executing detailed structural inspections during phase, isochronal, and periodic maintenance programs.

  • Interpreting engineering drawings, repair manuals, and service bulletins while accurately documenting work in maintenance logs.
