Job Title: Embedded Software Verification Engineer

Duration: 6+ Months (Initial project expected to run 3–4 months with possible extension)

Job Overview

We are hiring 30 Embedded Software Verification Engineers for an exciting avionics display software project with our client in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is an urgent hiring initiative, and candidates must be available to work onsite. The project focuses on software verification activities for advanced avionics display systems.

Engineers will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, execute, review, and debug software verification artifacts while working in a hardware lab environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Requirements-Based Verification for embedded software in accordance with DO-178C DAL A/B standards.
  • Develop test cases and test procedures based on software requirements.
  • Execute software verification and integration testing on embedded hardware.
  • Perform low-level software integration, unit testing, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with software developers, verification engineers, and global engineering teams.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and technical reviews.
  • Review and approve verification artifacts and documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Embedded Software Verification experience.
  • Strong experience with DO-178C DAL A or DAL B Requirements-Based Verification.
  • Experience with Low-Level Software Integration and Verification, including Unit Testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Embedded C++.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DO-178C DAL A/B Requirements Development.
  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another STEM discipline (preferred but not mandatory if required experience is strong).
  • Experience working with avionics or aerospace software.
