Lot ManagerPosition type: Full Time
Pay Range: $50,000-$65,000

Rod Baker Ford is looking for a dependable, energetic Lot Manager to keep our dealership lot organized, clean, safe, and ready for customers. This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping vehicles moving efficiently between the sales lot, service department, detail area, and customer delivery areas.

Responsibilities
  • Check in and receive new and pre-owned vehicles accurately and efficiently
  • Inspect vehicles upon arrival and document any existing damage, defects, or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate vehicle inventory records and ensure vehicles are properly stocked into the computer system
  • Use computer systems and inventory software to enter, update, and track vehicle information
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software and technology quickly
  • Move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property

  • Maintain an organized and attractive vehicle lot

  • Keep vehicles properly positioned, fueled, and ready for customers

  • Assist with vehicle deliveries, pickups, and customer vehicle drop-offs

  • Transport vehicles to and from service, detail, and other dealership areas

  • Keep the lot, driveways, and surrounding areas clean and presentable

  • Check vehicles for cleanliness and report any noticeable damage or issues

  • Assist sales and service teams with vehicle movement and other lot-related needs

  • Maintain keys and ensure vehicles are parked in the appropriate locations

  • Follow dealership safety procedures and vehicle-handling guidelines

  • Help with snow removal, trash removal, and general property upkeep as needed

  • Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers when needed

  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

  • Ability to safely drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is a plus

  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

  • Previous dealership, automotive, lot attendant, porter, or detailing experience is preferred but not required
