Lot Porter
Overview
Join our dynamic team as an RV Lot Porter, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment for our guests and ensure the smooth operation of our RV lot. In this role, you will be the friendly face that assists visitors, manages parking, and maintains the overall appearance and organization of the lot. Your proactive attitude and excellent communication skills will be key to delivering outstanding guest service and supporting our hospitality-focused environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service, driving, and retail skills while working in a lively outdoor setting.
Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and assistance with parking or lot inquiries
  • Safely maneuver RVs and trailers using manual transmission vehicles to park or retrieve units in designated areas
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including trash removal and minor landscaping tasks
  • Assist with checking in and out RVs, ensuring proper documentation and cash handling procedures are followed
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management to coordinate parking assignments and lot activities
  • Support delivery drivers by guiding them to appropriate parking spots or unloading areas
  • Monitor lot safety by conducting regular inspections of parking areas, fences, and signage to ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with experience operating manual transmission vehicles; dealership or delivery driver experience is a plus
  • Strong guest services skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse guests and team members
  • Ability to perform basic retail math for cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele

Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or dealership environments is beneficial but not required
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts; manual dexterity required for vehicle maneuvering
