Lot Attendant / Porter
Matt Bowers Chevy Metairie is committed to delivering top-tier automotive service and creating an exceptional experience for every customer. We're looking for reliable, organized, and proactive Lot Attendants/Porters to join our growing team.
The Lot Attendant/Porter is responsible for maintaining the dealership's vehicle lot, ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for customer delivery or service. This role ensures the dealership lot and service areas operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to supporting both customers and the service team.
What You'll Do
  • Move vehicles between the service drive, service bays, and lot as needed
  • Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles for customer delivery or lot presentation
  • Keep the lot organized, clean, and safe at all times
  • Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle transport and preparation
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and statuses
  • Report any vehicle or facility issues to management promptly
  • Support a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests
