We are seeking a passionate and energetic professional that is driven to succeed, provide solutions, and perform meaningful work. As a Risk Control Consultant, you will engage with policyholder customers and agent partners, conduct workplace risk assessments, and assist customers in establishing and maintaining effective safety and risk control programs. 

What you will do:

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide consultative services to support the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial insurance business within time and quality standards.
  • Identify and communicate effective risk control management recommendations to include training programs to improve policyholder safety and risk programs.
  • Assist policyholders in developing and maintaining effective loss control programs by providing technical information, loss analysis, resources, guidance, and leadership for all lines of insurance. Coordinate and conduct training programs that will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote safety consciousness.
  • Maintain files and pertinent documents on all assigned accounts in the territory; create and follow action plans as needed to acquire and maintain profitable business.
  • Inform policyholders, producers, and other affected staff, as necessary of any new regulations pertinent to commercial loss control management.

The selected candidate will be based in Louisiana, with a preferred home base city of Baton Rouge, and will travel routinely throughout the assigned territory. As such, the ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

The salary range for this position is $75,528-116,313 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
