Childcare Director of Admissions
About the Role
Primrose School of Middleton is looking for a Director of Admissions to lead enrollment growth for our school. This is a relationship-first, results-driven role for someone who knows how to turn a first conversation into a family who feels like they've found home.
You'll own the full enrollment journey: generating leads, leading tours, and guiding families from first inquiry to enrolled and settled. You'll sit on our school leadership team alongside our Principal and Education Coach, helping shape how our community grows and how families experience us from their very first touchpoint.
What You'll Do
  • Take the lead on growing school enrollment, owning the strategy and the follow-through
  • Manage outreach efforts, social media presence, and community engagement events that put Primrose in front of the right families
  • Lead tours that help parents feel what it's like to be part of our community, not just hear about it
  • Build and maintain authentic relationships with prospective and current families throughout the enrollment process
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and manage a pipeline of leads with consistent, timely follow-through
  • Collaborate with the Principal and Education Coach as part of the school leadership team
  • Represent Primrose at community events and build local partnerships that support enrollment goals
  • Track enrollment metrics and adjust outreach strategy based on what's working

What You Bring
  • Organization: you keep leads, tours, and follow-ups from falling through the cracks
  • Timely follow-through: families remember how quickly and warmly you responded
  • A sales mindset rooted in authentic connection: you're comfortable guiding a family toward a decision, and you do it by genuinely listening and building trust, not by pushing
  • Comfort with social media and community outreach
  • Confidence leading tours and speaking to groups
  • Childcare or early education experience is a plus, but not required — what matters most is your ability to connect with families and close the loop

Compensation & Benefits
  • Full-time, salaried position: $50,000–$55,000, plus eligible for a 10% performance-based bonus
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off

Why Primrose School of Middleton
You'll join a school with deep roots and a genuine belief that the first five years shape everything that comes after. This is a chance to help more families find that for their kids, and to do it as a real member of our leadership team, not just an admissions function.
