What You'll Do

The Weaver is responsible for operating circular looms and maintain loom creels.


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Operate and maintain circular weaving looms.
  • Change weft bobbins on the looms, and load and maintain the creels that hold the wrap yarn for the loom.
  • Operators are responsible for inspecting jacket and checking the loom creels.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the A-Weaver.
  • Attains production goals by accurately and timely completing work orders with minimum supervision.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Responsible for personal compliance of all OSHA and Puck rules and regulations.
  • Follows Puck Quality Assurance Program by accurately performing the required tasks as directed by team leader.

  • Complete transactions in the ERP system.
  • Accurately records time worked and allocated time to the appropriate job(s),
  • May operate a forklift as needed.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This is primarily a sedentary role in a professional office environment. Team members must be able to:

  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, crouching, and crawling all day.
  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and to climb or balance.
  • Must regularly life and move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.


Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing environment and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne partials, oil and grease, vibration and occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and performs work at a variety of different angles and body positions.
