Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Central Bancompany is seeking an innovative and highly organized Marketing Project Manager (Digital/Web) to join our Digital Marketing Team and play a key role in advancing how digital marketing initiatives are planned, executed, and delivered across the organization. Recognized on Forbes' Best Banks in America list for 18 consecutive years, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovation and collaboration. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end execution of digital marketing, website, content, UX, and optimization projects, serving as the central point of coordination between marketing, creative, technology, and business stakeholders. You will drive project planning, prioritization, resource alignment, and delivery while helping improve operational efficiency through AI, automation, and scalable processes. This is an opportunity for a project management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to help shape the future of digital marketing at a growing, customer-focused financial institution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Workflow
  • Own the end-to-end project lifecycle: intake, brief development, scope definition, scheduling, status tracking, and deployment sign-off
  • Manage concurrent digital marketing projects across web, content, UX, and development workstreams simultaneously
  • Maintain project intake queues and intake forms; triage and prioritize requests in coordination with team leads
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, RACI matrices, and milestone trackers in Jira or equivalent PM tooling
  • Lead cross-functional planning and touchpoint meetings; surface blockers and drive resolution
  • Facilitate UAT/QA cycles, coordinate stakeholder review rounds, and manage approval workflows prior to deployment
  • Document and continuously improve project workflows, process SOPs, and intake-to-deploy standards
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools and automation opportunities to streamline workflows, improve team efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance project delivery processes

Cross-Functional Team Coordination
  • Act as the primary point of coordination between Content, Front-End Development, UX Design, Information Technology (IT), and external vendors
  • Translate strategic briefs and marketing objectives into actionable project requirements for technical and creative teams
  • Partner with UX Content Strategist and UX/Design leads to align content, design, and development delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with IT and third-party vendors for platform updates, integrations, and technology deployments; manage SLAs and deliverable tracking
  • Communicate project status, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels - from team members to VP-level sponsors

CMS / DXP & Platform Management
  • Oversee project delivery within CMS/DXP environments, with working knowledge of content publishing workflows, page building, and release management
  • Coordinate deployments and environment promotions (dev → staging → production) in collaboration with front-end developers and IT
  • Maintain awareness of CMS/DXP feature sets, including A/B experimentation, personalization, and content publishing pipelines to inform project scoping and scheduling
  • Track CMS platform updates, patch schedules, and vendor-driven changes that affect project timelines or team workloads

Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with Analytics team to define success metrics for digital projects and ensure tracking instrumentation is included in project scope
  • Produce regular project status reports, sprint recaps, and retrospective summaries for leadership and cross-department stakeholders
  • Identify recurring bottlenecks in project workflows and champion process improvements that increase team throughput and delivery quality

WORK CONDITIONS
  • Standard office environment; hybrid eligibility available based on role performance and team needs, after completion of training
  • Occasional travel may be required to branch locations
  • Must be able to work effectively across time zones and manage deadlines with minimal direct supervision

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of project management experience in a digital marketing, web, or agency environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects that span content development, front-end development/design, and UX design disciplines
  • Hands-on familiarity with CMS/DXP platforms, content publishing workflows, page/component management, and deployment pipelines
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, shifting priorities, and cross-functional dependencies in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
  • Experience with PM and collaboration tools such as Jira, Figma, Microsoft Teams, and/or Confluenc
  • Partner with UX Content Strategist and UX/Design leads to align content, design, and development delivery timelines
  • Consult with business line stakeholders to identify best-in-class digital marketing opportunities, recommend innovative digital experiences, and help translate business objectives into scalable digital strategies and roadmaps

Bonus Experience
  • Direct experience with Optimizely CMS/DXP, including A/B experimentation workflows and content publishing pipelines
  • Background in financial services, banking, or other regulated industries with an understanding of compliance review processes
  • Exposure to front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) sufficient to communicate meaningfully with development teams
  • Familiarity with GA4, Siteimprove, or comparable analytics/accessibility platforms
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, SOWs, and third-party technology integrations
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience with UTM strategy, campaign tracking, or digital marketing performance measurement
