Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled video editor who is an elite visual storyteller who can leverage audio and visual elements to create impactful, short-form video content. We seek a creative, forward-thinking individual who can navigate the unique challenges of short-form content creation while effectively engaging with our target audience.

This person's core skillset must include creativity, technical proficiency, attention to detail, strong communication skills, storytelling abilities, adaptability and flexibility, excellent organization and time management, problem-solving skills, awareness of trends and audience preferences, and a continuous learning attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and condense 3-5 minutes of raw footage into a compelling 60-second short-form video for social media platforms.
  • Utilize strong storytelling techniques to create engaging storylines, applying music and sound effects to create an emotional connection with the viewers.
  • Demonstrate expertise in creating and incorporating visual animations into video content to improve storytelling and viewer engagement.
  • Ensure the application of appropriate color grading, audio synchronization, and smooth transitions, emphasizing attention to detail despite the limited timeframe.
  • Collaborate effectively with directors and other team members to understand their vision and deliver the desired outcome.
  • Keep abreast of current trends in short-form video editing, social media platforms, and audience preferences to create content that resonates with the target audience.
  • Optimize videos for mobile viewing and effectively utilize platform-specific features to maximize engagement.

Qualifications:
