Join our dynamic team as an Over the Road Commercial Driver’s License A Truck Driver and embark on exciting long-haul journeys across the country! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers to deliver freight efficiently and safely. Your expertise in driving will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

  • Safely operate a range of commercial trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, Dry van trailers long-distance routes.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
  • Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes for timely pickups and deliveries across multiple locations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any incidents encountered on the road.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, inspection reports, and delivery receipts in compliance with federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
  • Proven experience in truck driving .
  • No more than 2 violations in last 3 years.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial trucking and cargo handling.
  • Excellent driving record with a commitment to safe driving practices on all routes.
