Job description

Local family-owned delivery company in Winchester, VA is looking for reliable, hardworking employees. Employee van driving positions available. Full time and Part time daytime Monday- Friday permanent routes available. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Candidates must have clean motor vehicle record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Physically must be able to load and unload vans or box trucks.
  • This position is very active and requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pulling and pushing.
  • Drivers must be able to navigate using GPS.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Team player.

Responsibilities

  • Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations. Responsible for all aspects of customer delivery including loading orders for delivery mapping delivery routes, handling delivery paperwork, using application for deliveries, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining delivery vehicle, and unloading vehicle after deliveries are made.
  • Follow all traffic regulations and employee safety guidelines.
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle safety. Always maintain cleanliness of company vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift and move items.
  • Communicate with the General Manager.
  • Actual duties may vary depending on client.
