Join our dynamic organization, a leading calibration service provider experiencing rapid growth in Minnesota and its neighboring regions. As a Field Service Instrumentation Technician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch technical assistance, conducting installations, repairs, and instrument calibrations, all while providing exceptional support to our clients under the guidance of the Field Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Upon completing the training phase, you will embark on a journey to customer sites throughout Minnesota, with a primary focus on serving municipalities and industrial sectors. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Providing exceptional service by calibrating, repairing, and installing various instruments such as flow, pressure, pH, conductivity, and temperature devices.
  • Reviewing and comprehending written procedures, drawings, and test equipment manuals to ensure high-quality calibrations in a safe manner.
  • Working with 4-20 mA loops, involving troubleshooting, calibration, and modifications to existing systems and loops.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including daily time sheets, calibration reports, and other essential documentation.
  • Performing tasks both indoors and outdoors in diverse weather conditions, engaging in activities like climbing ladders, stairways, vessels, towers, and pipe racks.
  • Frequent on-the-road travel within a 1-hour driving distance, with occasional overnight stays for long-distance jobs within the state of Minnesota.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years equivalent work experience related to Process/System Control and/or Instrumentation.

Physical Requirements:
Successful candidates will possess:
