Job description

Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Planner serves as a project manager for the supply chain and overall Boisset Collection bottling schedule. This role partners with stakeholders across production, marketing, finance, operations, and sales to ensure the bottling schedule aligns with wine production demand. It incorporates stakeholder expectations for packaging, delivery, inventory management, shipping, data entry, and other aspects of the winery production process.
Strong leadership, communication skills, diplomacy, and acute attention to detail are critical to success in this role. The position requires a high level of accountability, precision, and adaptability in a dynamic production environment.
Essential Functions:
Bottling Schedule:
  • Maintain the overall bottling schedule for Boisset Collection offerings, working closely with stakeholders and leading bottling meetings.
  • Partner with Procurement Managers to monitor dry goods inventory, ensuring adequate supplies are available for all projects—especially complex ones involving adornments and labels with long lead times.
  • Communicate changes in the bottling schedule to winemaking, sales, marketing, procurement, and production teams—especially in the event of delays or adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on packaging changes, inventory management, and special projects. Ensure the Order Team Manager approves of new SKUs, particularly those tied to key sales initiatives.
  • Attend all company bottling meetings, take notes, and present a summary dashboard to leadership.
Inventory amp; Forecasting:
  • Provide Sales, Marketing, and key stakeholders with current and projected inventory reports
  • Monitor ongoing sales volume and run rates to ensure depletions justify bottling activity.
  • Collaborate with sales, club management, and other teams to support the allocation system within inventory.
Production:
  • Set up new items in Business Central.
  • Coordinate rework days with Production and Procurement teams for club and special projects.
  • Maintain an understanding of bottling and case logistics compliance.
  • Serve as the Smartsheet system administrator.
  • Lead special projects with stakeholders, managing project scopes, timelines, procurement standards, and cost considerations.
Additional Functions:
  • Comply with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures. Participate in safety training and report unsafe conditions or work practices.
  • Contribute to team efforts and perform additional duties as assigned.
Necessary Skills:
Language:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as memos, instructions, policies, and manuals.
