Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves long-distance transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with the ability to navigate different driving conditions while adhering to all regulations.

Duties

  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight across long distances, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Secure cargo.
  • Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate logs of hours driven, rest periods, and cargo details.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or any issues encountered during transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck interior while ensuring that cargo is secured properly for transport.
  • Utilize various types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks as required by the load.
