Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Our CDL drivers make short and long-distance trips around the US delivering and picking up trucks, trailers, and cars as needed by the auction.

   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
  • Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
  • Maintaining trucks to DOT and Remarketing Centar standards
  • The ability to climb up and down on your truck as necessary
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license and have a current and valid DOT physical.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

 Must have 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience, no exceptions are allowed in this policy.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Must be capable of properly completing ELD’s
  • Must be willing to learn, and use online payroll systems for time keeping

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.          

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  •  Must be willing to fly commercially as needed by the auction
