Job description

Med-Line Express Services is searching for candidates to subcontract delivery services in Denver, CO and surrounding cities. Our contracted drivers must display professional behavior and recognize the urgency and accuracy needed for this position. Applicants with current or prior delivery experience are encouraged to apply, especially if you have a medical courier background.

*This position requires use of your own vehicle, one will not be provided to you*

Current need:

  • Daytime (12P) route available heading north towards Fort Collins
    • 4-6hr shift, multiple stops, larger vehicle needed
  • Prioritizing on-call drivers with weekday and weekend flexibility
  • STAT work and swing shifts (backup work) - supplemental to other gigs.
  • Drivers comfortable with winter weather conditions, night time driving, residential and facility deliveries.
  • Daytime and evenings
  • Long distance delivery work available - Up to 120 miles one-way.

* Subcontractors are not employees; therefore you are responsible for your own tax liability. Payment is made on a bi-weekly term. *

Qualifications:

  • Must own presentable, reliable transportation (no pickup trucks) with full coverage and cargo insurance
  • Must have a valid driver license and be at least 21 years of age
  • Must pass a criminal background check and MVR check
  • Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic fast paced ever changing environment with minimal supervision
  • Must have a proactive approach to problem resolution, critical thinking, and problem solving in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, knowledge of mobile apps.
  • Prior courier or delivery experience preferred
  • Income is availability dependent

Responsibilities:

  • Complete pickup's and deliveries on-time
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Record completed tasks and obtain electronic POD's on delivery app
  • Record and retain required paperwork
  • Accurately navigate and execute each delivery
  • Accurately communicate with dispatch center
