Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Driver for our client. This job is responsible for transporting personnel, visitors, customers, goods, and materials using a company vehicle. Ensures safe delivery, proper handling of items, and compliance with company and regulatory policies. Maintains vehicle appearance and performance while providing professional service and support.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Drives a company vehicle to transport personnel, visitors and/or customers, and goods/materials.
  • Delivers, loads, and unloads products, food and/or equipment as requested.
  • May store or install delivered items.
  • Maintains a driver’s log and presents billing forms to designated representatives.
  • Collects receipts and follows all company’s and client policies as well as those of all regulatory agencies.
  • Makes minor repairs to vehicle(s) to keep them in good working order.
  • Oversees the appearance, operation, maintenance, and servicing of the vehicle.
  • May serve as a courier, delivering packages, documents, and mail.
  • Complies with all company’s HACCP policies and procedures.
  • Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
  • Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of transportation related work experience.
  • Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
  • Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Basic food-handling skills.
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • May require commercial license, depending on vehicle type and/or state law.
  • Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
  • Maintains a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule helpful.
  • Must comply with any dress code requirements.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Significant walking or other means of mobility.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up 50lb.
  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates.
  • Exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities.
