What You'll Do
- Provide mobile ultrasound exams at various facilities including nursing homes, home care agencies, and processing sites across the Omaha region
- Unload portable sonography equipment and perform imaging following physician's orders
- Digitally transmit images to radiologists for interpretation
- Verify patient identity using two identifiers before performing exams
- Ensure documentation of exams and maintain accurate records
- Communicate professionally with facility staff and dispatch teams
- Maintain and troubleshoot sonographic equipment and vehicle
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and ethical standards
- Support and train other technologists as needed
- Follow all safety, confidentiality, and professional guidelines
What You Need
- Valid state Sonographer license and national certification (RDCS, RVT, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of sonography experience
- Ability to operate portable ultrasound equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel regionally, with long-distance driving expected
