Job Summary

Our over the road drivers operate a truck transporting product to and from specified destinations. Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Loads, secures, and unloads cargo as needed. Maintains contact with dispatch and receives instructions for scheduled delivery or pick-up. Follow and abide by all DOT guidelines according to federal and state regulations. Responsible daily for vehicle inspection pre and post trip.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operates company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
  • Operates trucks for the delivery, pickup based on schedule set forth by dispatch.
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections and provides required reports.
  • Provides professional customer service during delivery and pick up operations.
  • Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
  • Maintain and protect all company property in excellent working condition.
  • Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary determined based on the needs of the business
  • Live on road experience with driver trainer
  • Cargo securement as required
  • Real time ELD usage 

Job Requirements

This job operates in a professional environment, and as such drivers are expected to be neat and presentable and represent the company in a curious and professional appearance and manner. Drivers can expect to be out several days per week and home most weekends. Drivers are assigned a sleeper cab vehicles and are expected to sleep in the vehicle several nights per week.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a CDL A
  • At least 2 years of experience as a CDL A truck driver
  • Flatbed experience preferred 
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
