SUMMARY OVERVIEW

The Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for safely and promptly transporting passengers between various airport locations. The driver must follow strict schedules to ensure passengers reach their destinations on time while maintaining safety and comfort. Duties also include assisting with luggage and answering passenger questions about airport facilities and services. Regular vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues or delays to the transport team are essential parts of the job. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely transport passengers between terminals, parking lots, and other airport locations 

  • Operate various types of shuttle buses and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner 

  • Adhere to all traffic and airport regulations while driving 

  • Assist passengers with embarking and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety 

  • Handle passenger luggage with care during loading and unloading 

  • Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle at all times 

  • Provide passengers with information about airport facilities and services 

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues 

  • Keep accurate records of travel routes, passenger counts, and schedules 

  • Respond professionally to passenger inquiries and provide excellent customer service 

  • Coordinate with airport staff and other drivers to manage traffic and parking challenges 

  • Stay informed of flight schedules and airport events to anticipate passenger needs 

  • Comply with safety procedures and protocols in emergency situations 

  • Participate in training and certification programs as required by the employer 

  • Demonstrate punctuality in all scheduled routes and assignments 

  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards

  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.

  • Must hold a valid driver's license.

  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)

  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices

  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

  • Pass a background check and drug screen

  • Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).

  • Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
