Job description

Job Summary -

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to haul and deliver materials such as gravel, asphalt, millings, and dirt to and from construction sites. This role plays a critical part in supporting our field operations and requires strong driving skills, familiarity with jobsite safety, and the ability to operate dump trucks in both on-road and off-road conditions.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Operate a dump truck safely and efficiently on roadways and construction sites
  • Haul and deliver materials to various job sites, plants, and disposal facilities
  • Dump materials at designated locations while ensuring even, safe distribution
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, timecards, and truck condition reports
  • Secure loads properly and ensure they remain within legal weight limits
  • Follow traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times
  • Communicate clearly with dispatchers, foremen, and site personnel regarding timing and drop locations
  • Assist with loading materials when needed; may involve light labor duties when not driving
  • Keep assigned vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications -

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Ability to read maps, understand directions, and follow delivery schedules
