Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator with Top-Secret Clearance and SCI Eligibility. The role involves managing IT systems and operations, ensuring compliance with security standards, and providing technical support within the defense industry.
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma with 10 years of IT experience, OR Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of IT experience.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or higher.
• Strong technical skills in one or more of the following: Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, MS Hyper-V, Enterprise networking, Forensic analysis, Scripting.
• 8–10 years of IT technical support experience (based on education level).
• Experience working in the defense industry with both military and civilian personnel is required.
Preferred:
• Hands-on experience with: BMC Footprints, WSUS, Lumension, Bitlocker, SQL Server 2012, TomCat, IIS, Windows Server 2012r2/2016.
• Knowledge of: SIEM tools (e.g., LogRhythm), ACAS, Nessus, or SCAP, Role-based access control concepts.
• Familiarity with: Video teleconferencing / VOIP, Oracle or MS SQL database security, Apache or IIS Web server security.
• Background in IT systems and operations within a government or military environment is preferred.
