Job description

About Nevoya:

Nevoya is North America's leading next-generation electric trucking carrier, transforming logistics through AI-native operations and relentless customer focus. The company builds and uses proprietary technology to deliver zero-emissions carrier services to Fortune 500 shippers with superior economics and service to legacy diesel operators. The company has operations in California and Texas, and is backed by globally-renowned investors including Lowercarbon Capital.

About The Role:

The Enterprise Sales Executive owns the front half of Nevoya's revenue engine: finding, winning, and launching new customers. This is not a lead-gen seat. You carry the deal from first outreach through signed MSA, first load, and a clean handoff to Operations. You'll sell asset-based EV capacity directly to shippers and select 3PL partners, with a mandate to grow contract freight and shift revenue mix toward direct-shipper relationships.

You'll own the RFP process end to end, convert spot and project freight into committed volume, and run new lane launches so every go-live hits its committed date with no surprises for the customer or Ops. You'll also lead MSA negotiation with new customers, working within Nevoya's contracting standards and escalating material exceptions when needed.

This is a numbers-owned seat. Success is measured in new logos closed, contracted revenue, RFP win rate, on-time lane launches, and days from signature to first load. You'll need to understand asset-based trucking economics, want to build rather than inherit, and have the capacity to run multiple enterprise pursuits and onboardings at once without dropping balls.

What You'll Do:
  • Own the full-cycle pursuit of new shipper and 3PL logos on national networks

  • Build and manage your own pipeline in Attio: prospecting, qualification, discovery, proposal, close

  • Sell against Nevoya's ICP of high-density, closed-loop-friendly freight on corridors where EV economics win

  • Own the end-to-end RFP process: intake, lane analysis, pricing coordination, submission, and follow-through

  • Partner with Commercial Intelligence on lane-level cost modeling and with the VP of Commercial on margin strategy

  • Build and maintain a repeatable RFP playbook covering bid/no-bid criteria, response templates, and win/loss tracking

  • Convert spot and project freight into committed, contracted volume

  • Expand existing accounts onto new lanes and deepen wallet share with dedicated and contract structures

  • Drive the direct-shipper revenue mix in line with company strategy

  • Own new customer onboarding from signature through first load and stabilization

  • Own and continuously improve the New Lane Launch Playbook, including requirements gathering, charging and routing validation with Ops, and driver and equipment readiness

  • Own the Sales-to-Ops handoff SOP with clear swim lanes for who does what, from close through steady-state

  • Ensure complete, accurate handoff documentation for every new lane, including rates, accessorials, appointment protocols, contacts, and escalation paths

  • Close the loop post-launch by gathering Ops feedback and feeding it back into the playbook

  • Lead MSA and carrier agreement negotiation with new customers

  • Flag and negotiate key commercial terms such as liability, indemnity, declared value, payment terms, and volume commitments, escalating material exceptions to the VP of Commercial

  • Maintain a library of negotiated positions and fallback language to accelerate future deals

What You'll Bring To The Table:
  • 10+ years in freight or logistics sales, with asset-based carrier, dedicated or contract sales, or enterprise 3PL business development strongly preferred

  • A demonstrated track record closing new logos and growing contract freight with shippers

  • Experience running or responding to transportation RFPs, including lane-level pricing collaboration

  • Comfort negotiating MSAs and carrier agreements, and judgment on which terms matter and when to escalating material exceptions to the VP of Commercial

  • Operational fluency from having launched lanes or accounts before, so you know what a clean handoff looks like

  • CRM discipline in Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar, with a pipeline that's always current

  • An understanding of asset-based trucking economics: cost per mile, utilization, deadhead, accessorials, and why disciplined pricing beats volume at any cost

  • The drive to own a number, hunt new logos, and be accountable for the launch, not just the signature

  • The organization to run 5+ active enterprise pursuits, an RFP calendar, and 2-3 concurrent onboardings without dropping balls

Desired Experience:
  • EV or sustainability freight exposure

  • TX or CA market knowledge

  • Desire to work at an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating Style) organization
