Purpose of the Job:

The Logistics Solutions Consultant is responsible for ensuring both efficient and reliable freight movement and growing revenue through new business development. This role combines operational excellence with sales responsibilities, focusing on building strategic client partnerships, delivering outstanding service, and expanding the companyโ€™s market presence.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients through proactive communication and consultative support
  • Oversee the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring timely pickup, transportation, and delivery of goods
  • Act as the liaison between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers to resolve operational issues quickly
  • Match customer freight with qualified carriers and negotiate competitive contracts
  • Collaborate with pricing teams to ensure competitive, profitable rates
  • Prospect, cold-call, and network to grow your book of business
  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities by developing tailored logistics solutions
  • Achieve revenue and margin growth targets while maintaining service excellence

Education and/or Experience:

  • Preferred minimum 1-2 years of successful sales experience.
  • Preferred minimum 3โ€“5 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales, with a proven track record in both account management and business development.
