Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain team. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end coordination of logistics operations and day-to-day operations tasks. Your expertise will drive process improvements, optimize freight and shipping logistics, and foster strong vendor relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your analytical skills and supply chain knowledge will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Duties


  • Accurately enter new orders into the system
  • Coordinate transportation planning and shipping logistics using our transportation management system (TMS) to optimize freight.
  • Monitor and track the progress of orders, ensuring timely updates.
  • Manage documents related to shipments; including BOLโ€™s, Delivery Orders, PODโ€™s & Weight & Inspections.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering inquiries and addressing concerns promptly by clear and maintaning effective communication with all parties involved in the shipment.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining our existing base of qualified carriers, ensure their profiles are complete and up to date.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Confident, professional phone presence and strong business e-mail and telephone etiquette.
  • Proficiency and experience in spreadsheets and data manipulation skills utilizing Excel spreadsheets and Google Docs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and transportation planning.
