Logistics Operator II

The Logistics Operator II is responsible for performing advanced tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. This role involves ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of materials within the warehouse, maintaining inventory records, and supporting overall logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper labeling and documentation of shipments.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
