Job description

We partner with a wide range of medical facilities and healthcare providers to bring a higher level of care to healthcare delivery. Simply put, we are doing our part in the healthcare specialty logistics arena!
Our Role:
The Logistics Coordinator will support operational activities related to the transportation of supplies, kits, and biological specimens. Responsibilities will include tracking shipments from the point of pickup through to delivery. The position will act as a key liaison between both external and internal partners. This role will be Tuesday through Saturday, with the opportunity for a flexible, hybrid schedule located at our Columbus, GA facilities. ResponsibilitiesYour Impact:
  • Efficiently and effectively track shipments with an emphasis on proactive troubleshooting, communication and intervention  -Order, track, and report pickup and deliveries
  • Demonstrate ability to continuously improve day-to-day logistics, streamline work-flows and work diligently to provide quality support and build strong vendor relations
  • Update and manage daily logistics reports - Send daily reports of transit transactions
  • Effectively manage carriers to standard operating procedures and service level agreements
  • Familiarity with standard logistics concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Monitor and trend carrier performance
  • Monitor carrier dashboard
  • Effectively communicate with customers across management levels
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Execute service strategies and programs for problem resolution
  • Manage and update BioTouch systems as needed for Client profiles
  • Other duties as assigned
Required SkillsWhat You Bring:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in a service related area
  • All prospective employees must pass a background and drug check

  • Knowledge of UPS and FedEx network and shipping services
  • Strong PC skills required including use of MS Office applications
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of our products and services to effectively handle inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to prioritize and shift priorities quickly as need dictates
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Team oriented with commitment to the success of the team and organizational goals
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to work shift work and overtime as required
