Company Description Triumph Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children, adults, and veterans with spinal cord injuries or disorders as they navigate life with paralysis and mobility impairments.


Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a part-time, on-site role based in Santa Clarita, CA. This role supports daily operations and is crucial to keeping our organization running smoothly.

Shift: 15-20 hours per week + occasional Saturday events (schedule to be determined by program needs)

Pay: $20/hour


Position Description:

  • Basic data entry, filing and email correspondence.
  • Keeping our electronic filing system up-to-date. (Dropbox)
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Keeping executive calendars organized
  • Creating flyers and promotional materials.
  • Ordering resources.
  • Volunteer engagement and coordination.
  • Occasional weekend availability for events.
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned.

 

Position Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Highly proficient computer knowledge, Microsoft Office software and tools, and the ability to quickly learn software systems.
  • CRM knowledge desired, but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to type 40+ words per minute
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management abilities and reliability in completing tasks.
  • Professional etiquette and customer service skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse communities.
  • Ability to collaborate with a small team, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Prior experience in a nonprofit or community-focused environment is beneficial.


Responsibilities include organizing files, schedules, data entry, database updates, and tracking program activities, donations, and event logistics. This role also helps coordinate materials for outreach programs, supports event planning and registration, and collaborates with staff to ensure smooth, efficient office and program operations.
