About the Position: This position is located within the Materiel Systems Organization (MSO), Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) and is one of the Department of the Army's premier support organizations. The MSO encompasses TACOM's total life cycle acquisition responsibilities, providing functional and technical expertise for disciplined program and contract execution.Qualifications:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes at least 3 out of 5 experiences listed: (1) Serving as a functional interface between Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers and the DoD acquisition; (2) Reviewing policies for diplomatic issues to provide feedback; (3) Managing the integrated logistics support elements throughout the life cycle of a system (e.g. production, transportation, product assurance, acquisition, etc.); (4) Managing case requirements utilizing systems such as Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS); (5) Providing logistical support that included a variety of vehicle/weapon systems managed by Command (e.g. combat, construction and material handling equipment).: This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).Education:This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: OTHER
