Job Title: Logistics Specialist - Middle Mile Carrier Performance & Escalations
Job Description
We are seeking a Logistics Specialist who will contribute to the development of a world-class logistics process, ensuring timely delivery of goods at the best cost. This role involves working on high-level strategy and design, as well as implementation, to support our transportation network's carrier partners in delivering freight efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve performance score discrepancies within the transportation services network carrier base.
  • Partner with teams to drive process improvements that enhance service, iterate technology, and foster carrier performance engagement and growth.
  • Collaborate on the development and delivery of key programs, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to inform key business decisions across customer-facing programs.
  • Extract and manage data from numerous databases using tools such as Excel, QuickSight, Hubble, and SQL.

Essential Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in dispute resolution, transportation, customer support, or operations within a B2B environment.
  • Proficiency in entry-level Excel, Microsoft Office, and basic computer skills.
  • Effective communication skills with carriers and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of management experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

Work Environment
This position is operationally focused with no phone work required. The role involves working with large data sets and utilizing SQL and other data management systems. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
