EOD Logistics Support Technician
D2 Government Solutions, Inc.
Location: Tyndall AFB, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
D2 Government Solutions is seeking a qualified EOD Logistics Support Technician to provide logistics, equipment management, vehicle coordination, supply accountability, and operational readiness support for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Counter-Small Tactical Robotics (CSTR) training programs.
This position is responsible for ensuring EOD equipment, vehicles, supplies, and training assets are properly maintained, inventoried, documented, secured, and readily available to support mission and training requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong logistics and organizational skills, experience managing equipment programs, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced military training environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Equipment Management and Readiness
  • Manage and support recurring equipment maintenance and inspection programs.
  • Schedule, track, and document maintenance requirements and equipment status.
  • Identify equipment shortages and coordinate corrective actions to maintain operational readiness.
  • Ensure all assigned equipment and storage locations remain clean, serviceable, and ready for use.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance actions, and replacement requirements as necessary.
Supply and Inventory Control
  • Conduct inventories of EOD equipment, tools, and support assets in accordance with approved accountability procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and supporting documentation.
  • Process equipment requests, supply orders, and logistics transactions.
  • Utilize technical orders, equipment manuals, and applicable guidance to support equipment management programs.
  • Monitor equipment accountability and ensure proper storage and security of all assets.
Vehicle Program Support
  • Assist with management and coordination of the EOD vehicle fleet.
  • Coordinate vehicle scheduling, maintenance tracking, inspections, and service requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable Air Force vehicle management and equipment accountability programs.
  • Monitor vehicle readiness and availability to support operational and training requirements.
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel to resolve vehicle deficiencies and ensure timely repairs.
Student Equipment Cage Management
  • Maintain student equipment cages and training equipment storage areas.
  • Ensure training equipment is inventoried, inspected, maintained, and available for use.
  • Monitor equipment serviceability and promptly address lost, damaged, or defective items.
  • Maintain organized, secure, and controlled access to equipment storage locations.
  • Support inspection readiness requirements for equipment management programs and storage facilities.
Training and Operational Support
  • Support EOD and CSTR training operations by ensuring required equipment and supplies are available and mission-ready.
  • Issue and recover equipment, vehicles, and support assets during training events.
  • Inspect returned equipment and vehicles for serviceability and report deficiencies as required.
  • Assist with equipment inventories, accountability procedures, and equipment issuance.
  • Assemble, organize, and maintain training aids and support materials.
Range and Exercise Support
  • Support EOD training exercises and range operations as required.
  • Perform road guard duties during explosive operations to maintain safety and prevent unauthorized access to training areas.
  • Operate approved training simulators and support devices during field exercises and training scenarios.
  • Assist instructors and training personnel in preparing equipment for classroom and field training events.
Safety and Compliance
  • Comply with all Department of the Air Force, Department of Defense, and organizational safety requirements.
  • Follow established procedures for handling, storing, transporting, and securing equipment and materials.
  • Maintain awareness of explosive safety requirements and support compliance during training operations.
  • Participate in inspections, audits, and readiness assessments as required.
Information Security
  • Handle, process, store, and safeguard classified, unclassified, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • Comply with all security requirements associated with Government systems, facilities, and operations.

Minimum Qualifications
EOD Background
  • Graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) or equivalent training program.
  • Documentation verifying graduation and military service, if applicable.
  • Prior EOD technician with a minimum Senior EOD Badge.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Air Force EOD operations and procedures at the flight level.
  • Familiarity with Air Force logistics systems, inventory management, and equipment accountability processes.
Logistics Background
  • Former Air Force Logistics Readiness Officer or Enlisted Airman, or equivalent logistics experience.
  • Documentation verifying military service, if applicable.
  • Experience managing equipment accounts, inventory systems, acquisitions, or logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with military supply chain operations and lifecycle management processes.
Additional Required Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, inventory control, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Honorable discharge from military service, if prior military.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting military training environments.
  • Familiarity with Air Force Equipment Management Systems.
  • Experience with vehicle fleet management and maintenance coordination.
  • Knowledge of logistics readiness, supply accountability, and inspection programs.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize equipment, supplies, and training materials.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely operate around vehicles, equipment, and training environments.
