The business unit supports customers across the Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, and commercial partners, delivering innovative solutions that enhance mission readiness, operational effectiveness, and long-term mission success.
Job Summary
The Business Services Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing business operations, administrative functions, and support services that enable organizational efficiency and growth. This role oversees process improvement initiatives, resource management, vendor relationships, budgeting, and cross-functional business support activities. The Business Services Manager partners with leadership teams to implement operational strategies, enhance service delivery, and ensure the effective execution of business objectives.
This position is contingent upon award of the contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day business operations and support functions to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, policies, and procedures to maximize productivity and performance.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, expense management, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead and support business improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop administrative and business support personnel.
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to improve business performance and service quality.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations, administration, project management, or a related business services function.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management or enterprise systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement, process optimization, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management credentials.
  • Experience supporting multi-site, regional, or global business operations.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and driving measurable improvements in operational efficiency and service delivery.
